Image collection »Kreuzbergpass«

There are numerous fortifications on the Kreuzbergpass which is located on the border between South Tyrol and the Italian Belluno. The oldest ones date back to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy when South Tyrol was still part of Austria. Furious battles took place on the border to the Kingdom of Venetia to which Belluno also belonged.
