The community of Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde - St. Felix in the Ultental valley is able to look back over a long pilgrimage tradition. The location was already a place of congregation for pilgrims and travellers in the 12th century. The gothic pilgrimage church of Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde was built in the 15th century. The characteristics of this pilgrimage church are its carved baroque altars and the picture of the Virgin Mary with Child with its miraculous powers which is exhibited in a glass rococo shrine.
